Being a novice to the world of construction, I thank you, Don Snell and Peter Conrick for taking the time to not only listen to what we were looking for, but also walking me through the ins and outs of what to expect for a project of this size.  You guided me through an understanding of how the process worked and what the expectations would be surrounding the projected deadline.  You were patient with my questions and understanding when changes and new ideas were presented.  You were also proactively aware of the tight timeline that had been set, and were in constant communications with not only myself and our designer, but also with the property management team and the trades, following up on outstanding issues in a timely manner.
It was an absolute pleasure to work with a team of professionals who not only know what they are doing and how to manage a project, big or small, but who were also positive, honest and fun to work with.

As our 3 floor renovation project has come to an official close, wanted to take a few moments to reflect on the successful team accomplishments and thank you on behalf of all of us here at DBRS, for your tireless efforts over the last year.
Around this time last year, we had recently awarded our project to you (after a formal RFP process for CM Services with 5 local bidders participating) and were in the midst of various time sensitive pre-construction activities together including value engineering strategies and extensive budgeting exercises. We wanted to refresh our entire office space, consisting of approximately 42,000 square feet and had fixed budget expectations. Our goal was to invest wisely and make lasting changes and improvements to all our employee and customer facing areas. The Tremton team helped us determine a realistic budget and a comprehensive multi-phased plan and schedule to achieve this without swing space or major interruption tom our over 200 employees who would be working in the space for the duration of the project.
During execution, Tremton separated our internal project team, consultants, trades and landlord through 5 consecutive phases of construction on our floors. Each phase/area of construction lasted approximately 6 weeks and was run very much like it was its own project - started and ended with a large employee move. At the beginning, we had departments and high profile areas functioning in the temporary spaces we created and as the project progressed, we were welcoming employees and guests into new environments as they came on line. Special thanks to Peter Conrick our site supervisor, who was omni-present and not only keeping track of all the detailed conditions and trade activities on the construction sites, also constantly aware of the safety and functionally of our premises as a whole throughout.
We always knew it would be a complex and time consuming project; with not only the usual expectations of bringing it in on time and on budget to make it successful (which we achieved, yes!). The creation of our great new headquarters in Toronto required expertise and prolonged dedicated efforts from all involved to make it happen. Our thanks to everyone at Tremton for the excellent work and for leading the way.

I am pleased to provide this letter of recommendation for Tremton Construction Inc. on the behalf of Hilti.
We partnered with Tremton’s team on our new Canadian Headquarters relocation to Oakville, Ontario. The project was remodeling an existing space, utilizing some of the elements that were there and modifying the rest of the space.  This project took place 100% during COVID-19 lockdowns, which hindered our project management team, based in the US, from traveling to the jobsite.
The Tremton team was extremely accommodating, organized and customer oriented.  They ran weekly updated meetings via video calls which enabled us to review and discuss any potential changes.  We experienced a longer than normal lead time on the permit from the city and although that pushed the project timeline, due to their good relationships with their subs we were able to stay on track and under budget.
The entire team of TCI from project management, onsite construction and office management were what made this project a pleasure and success.  I would highly recommend Tremton Construction and would be open to provide any additional information.
