Now that construction is complete, I wanted to share my feelings about TCI, crew and its ideals.
Rarely have I found a company that not only says they put the customer first but puts it into action.  Your staff and sub trade selections have all proved to be “best in class” and your competitors could learn a thing or two from the way you operate.
Specifically let me single out, Jane Neville and Peter Conrick who, were the stars of the show and in my opinion went above and beyond scope to get things done and done properly.  The best part, as an example was, that we didn’t get a chance to ask about potential deficiency on our many walk throughs as it was taken care of before we even became aware of it.  Most renovations are a stress test for operations, but these two individuals made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
John, I can’t express enough what a pleasure it is to work with real professionals such as these individuals and your company, thank you for making the whole thing a pleasurable experience.

After meeting with four construction management firms, we chose Tremton Construction Inc. because of what appeared to be its practical, no-nonsense approach, high quality of service and reasonable fees.  Now that we have completed our project, I am happy to say that you and your team delivered as expected.
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Tremton was able to complete the construction of our new Toronto office on time and under budget.  While I fully anticipated issues and challenges with the project, there were none that you and your team couldn’t handle.  What was particularly impressive was your team dealt with any issues first in a way that, by the time I found out about them, you had already found a solution.

I am writing to recommend Tremton Construction Inc. based on our recent experience with their construction management services to support the successful construction of our new Canadian Headquarters at 1415 Joshuas Creek Drive, in Oakville, Ontario.
Our project was complex, given concurrent building completion activities and occupancy timing pressures.  Even with this complexity, the project was completed on time and within budget, given TCI’s oversight from initial scoping and through design, construction and ultimately closeout and occupancy.  The entire TCI team from onsite construction supervisor, office support staff and management, were entirely involved, available and responsive to all of our needs.  Their collective efforts made the construction of our new Headquarters a well managed project that required significantly less of our oversight, which was our primary goal in hiring a construction management firm.
We were most pleased with the level of service, quality of work and oversight of trades, budget management, and value for fees, as provided by TCI.  And as such, would provide the highest recommendation of their services.

Tremton Construction is our construction manager on projects whenever possible.  They do not engage in unethical subtrade tender collusion that unfortunately is somewhat common in the industry.  They do jot provide loss leader construction management fees and then undertake behaviours detrimental to the client to increase revenues during the build out.
The focus is often on the size of the contractors when evaluating such.  I have worked with Tremton on all sizes of projects and continue to promote them to my clients because I enjoy the same experience regardless of project size and complexity.
I sum, John and his team are world class but simple and easy to deal with.  They deliver great pre construction value and value engineering, aggressive but sensible schedules and honest and accurate budgets.  They get things done without constant guidance from me, they pay attention to the details and they treat the clients money like their own.  I do not hesitate to recommend them.
